Covid-19

If you have not been to AZAH since the start of the pandemic, it is important to know that safety continues to be a top priority for our clients, staff and pets. Although disinfecting protocols have always been in practice as an operating hospital, we have been working hard to exceed the CDC and the American Veterinary Medical Association protocols.

Practice Update as of 6/29/2021

While we acknowledge Arizona’s continued progress in reducing the spread of COVID-19 through vaccine distribution and lifted restrictions on businesses, we remain vigilant in maintaining the health and safety of our staff, clients, and patients.

  • Clients continue to be welcome inside the hospital. We provide individual exam rooms for scheduled doctor visits that are cleaned and sanitized after each use.
  • Although we are no longer requiring masks in the facility, we do continue to recommend those who are not fully vaccinated to wear a face covering.
  • Social distancing protocols are still in place as we continue to manage the traffic in our lobby and throughout the facility.

If you do not feel comfortable coming inside the hospital, please call us upon arrival at 480-686-8083 and we can come to your vehicle and bring your pet only into the hospital for their services.

For the safety of all clients, pets and staff, please do not visit the hospital if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms. Please contact us to make alternative arrangements.  We recognize this is a challenging time for everyone and special circumstances can arise.  If you have a situation you would like to discuss, please contact us, and ask for a manager.
